My arms hung out, in thin air
On my fingertips a sensations fades,
My eyes are closed, my lips quiver
As I see your image

Flaring in my chest, upon my lips
A fire breaks out,
While my eyes snap open,
Your image disappearing

I close my eyes again, a fear held behind them,
A sadness closing in

I'm alive...
In your hell.

"I can feel you all around me,
Thickening the air I'm breathing,
Holding on to what I'm feeling,
Savoring this heart that's healing.."

My hands still hang out loosely

As I start to fall under your spell again,
My feet moving,
Towards that place we once called ours

As my illusion ends,
I can tell I've been crying,
Because you're still gone.
Just like the last day seeing you,
When you walked away from me,
to her.

Now your back before me,

Without her.
You're stabbing me with your image that doesn't fade or decay,
But only seems to duplicate.

And you torture me with memories,
Flashing by.
You whisper, "Come back to me"
A devil's voice.
Though I know you won't mean it,

You're burning me with your image that is multiplying,
Words slashing at me.
Eyes boring into mine.
I toss and turn my head, looking for a way out.

But how can I, when you're all around me?
